You may know me as magun, travelnotes, or TravelTweet; usernames I've used online since 1996.
Many of you may also know me by my real name of Michel and it's the username I'll be using here. It sounds a little better than "hey, TravelNotes" or 'Meta'.
Whether you choose to be known by your real name, or have your Brand Name as a username is up to you but real photos on profiles are required.
You wouldn't get through customs with a company logo in your passport.
Some Background History
During 40 years of travelling and living abroad I've been lucky enough to visit over 120 countries, 220 sites on the UNESCO World Heritage List and just over 100 of the World Heritage Cities.
After starting out as an aspiring freelance photo journalist, I eventually founded TravelNotes.org in 1997, to help other travellers and virtual tourists discover more about the world we live in.
Travel-Write.com soon followed, to expand on the travel articles section at Travel Notes.
I also own a collection of other travel-related domains; including the Meta-Travel Tourism Association community website you're looking at now.
